The business is registered at 7323 E Independence Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28227; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Charlotte, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–7 pm. It is closed on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Korean Restaurant at (704) 536-5848; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 237 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded korean restaurants in Charlotte.

Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Charlotte is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I called ahead of time to place my order and I let the lady know that I wanted a vegan option for my food. I opted out of getting the beef and the egg. I've had this dish from his restaurant a total of four times and all except for today, I've actually dinned in. I know how much food usually comes with this particular dish and I know for sure there were no extra vegetables added to it! Though, the food was good, the amount of food was ridiculous! The photo was taken as soon as I clocked out for lunch and opened the box!

The food is absolutely amazing and the people are so nice, thankful to have this great restaurant in Charlotte. The yukgaejang, dolsot bimbimbap, and duk boki are some of my faves, but you can't go wrong with anything they have. Also their banchan (the side dishes available in the cooler beside the counter) are all so good. The spicy fish cakes and spicy crab (when they are available) are some of my favorites.

ABSOLUTE BANGER!!! man, the food is amazing, authentic and reasonably priced. Charlotte is definitely lacking in the Korean food department overall but this place is as close to authentic as you’ll get. The restaurant is inside a grocery store with other food stalls near by so you have plenty of options. The bakery nearby is a musttttt the sesame balls were delicious!! Though I wouldn’t recommend the dim sum form the restaurant in the middle… but their banhmi were really good. TAKE MY WORD!! This food court is so much better than the one in Pineville’s super g mart.

This Korean place is inside of the Super G supermarket, they have few different types of soups and different types of kimchi, they have the pepino πŸ₯’ one that i like the most, all fresh, I got the Soon Dubu soup it’s a type of tofu with seafood with rice super delicious ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my first time trying the food counters inside Super G Mart (Independence Avenue). I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality of the food at the aptly named Korean Restaurant. The service was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the bulgogi, which came out fresh and hot. The gochujang sauce was perfect, being more spicy than sweet. I was not a fan of the accompanying kimchi, which did not taste fresh and was relatively dry. I also was surprised at the high price ($13.99 + tax). Overall, I felt that the portion was ideal and the flavors were excellent and authentic. I would recommend to others, but don’t expect a β€œcheap eat.”
